I purchased an iPhone 64gb model on October 26th (last month) on Bestbuy.com to be paid off in montly installments through Verizon. As or 11/22/2021, I still have not received it. I'm reaching out to see if anyone from Best Buy can tell me the status of this order and when I can expect to receive it. When I ordered it, I selected the option for one day shipping but later that night the order status changed to delayed. That should have been my first red flag.
A week later on November 3rd the order showed as processed by UPS (shipping label created) and I was billed the inital amount. It is now November 22nd and it still has not arrived and when I check the UPS tracking number it says "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible." To make matters worse, Verizon has now started charging me monthly installments for a phone I haven't received yet and I have no idea when I will receive it due to Best Buy's awful communication/shipping practices.
The entire reason I went through Best Buy instead of one of their competitors was that they offered one day shipping at checkout which seemed like a great deal at the time. Here's a tip, don't offer shipping in under a week if you cannot meet that estimate, especially when the product comes from an outside vendor like Apple! There are global supply chain issues so don't misrepresent when you can deliver someone's order. I'm fine waiting a week or two, but an entire month with no updates or communication from Best Buy is disgraceful. Now I'm stuck paying it off with no delivery date in sight. After this experience, I will never order an item through Best Buy again and have begun telling others not to either. Any help on this situation would be appreciated. Thanks.
