Order delayed

My order was delayed and no further info given, just wondering what’s going on. Item said preparing for pickup on 7/2 for two weeks and the an hour before pickup store closed for an e-mail saying item was delayed. I understand being busy and a holiday weekend, but all it says is “we will try to get item to you in the next few days” and it’s been 3 days now and still no further info has been givin so I’m just wondering what’s going on if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.
