Order Delayed for in store pick up

I have two orders for an msi optix g271cqr monitor. I placed these orders on the 19th of July for in store pick up at a store a little further away from me because my local store would be getting the order later than I'd like. I recieve an email and text on the day I was supposed to pick it up saying it was delayed and they're working to get it to me in the next few days. Thing is my local store was supposed to be getting this order in today had I ordered for in store pick up here. So ordering to pick up at another store for a earlier pick up date was senseless since it's been delayed to who knows when. Pretty upsetting and now I can understand why people on the forum bash best buy.

Best Buy works with various inventory partners and their own stores to ensure quick delivery. Sometimes if a store has an item in stock, they will get it from there and transfer it to the store. This takes time and usually is ground shipping from one store to the other. 

 

Unfortunately inventory and shipping issues can happen at any time which can be unpreventable and they will work hard to get it to you as soon as possible. A Best Buy mod may be able to help you on this front.
