I bought an OPEN BOX Excellent blue Apple Watch Series 7 41mm GPS only via Best Buy.com, and picked up in the Cambridge MA store.

However, when I went home and tried to set up, the watch was still activated under the prior owner's Apple ID.  Under the advice of Best Buy customer service, I requested Apple to deactivate the email account to the watch, but they refused without the original (first) owner's receipt. 

At local Best Buy, I had a hard time returning the item, as the local store would not accept it (I bought it in another state while traveling), so I had to mail it back via UPS the last day of the 2 week return window. I HOPE I get a refund, because Best Buy sold me a BAD watch, as the store never checked the return to make sure it is inactivated.  

Please Help.   I can't trust the Best Buy return center to give me the proper refund that I deserve.  

I should have just bought a new one, so I dont have to go through this nightmare.
