Online purchase, did not receive emailed receipt nor show up on purchase history.

Hi! I ordered Sony headphones from BestBuy around 4/29/2017. The headphones broke due to a manufacturing defect, and I called Sony since the headphones are covered by Sony's warranty. I need to send Sony a picture of where they are broken, and a picture of the reciept, so that I can recieve further instructions on how to get them repaired/replaced. 

However, I never got an online reciept emailed to me, and when looking under purchase history in "BestBuy.com", the purchse does not appear. The only evidence I have of the purchase, is the part on my bank account statement that lists the purchase, and a set of numbers in the description which I believed may be the order number.

Is there a way for me to still get an online receipt?

You can try calling 1-888-Best-Buy they might be able to help. Also have you tried looking for the email with order confirmation? Go into your email and over the search type best buy order, it always helps me. Honestly I would never make another purchase with best buy again their website is full of issues with orders and people hacking into accounts. Good luck.

I did not recieve an email with the order confirmation. Judging by these forums, that seems to be a pretty common occurence for people to not recieve an order confirmation. I searched for it for about 30 minutes, eventually filtering by the date and still finding only my bank account notifications that I had paid for it.

Welcome to the forums and thanks for posting! I’m sorry to hear that your headphones broke. Having experienced that in the past, I know it can be a bit frustrating, especially if you don’t have a receipt. I’d be happy to help you out.

 

I can advise that we are currently experiencing some issues with purchase histories not showing up correctly on My Best Buy accounts on BestBuy.com.
