Online orders automatically canceled

Hello,

I am placing new orders online and they are automatically being canceled and I receive a follow up email that states my order was automatically canceled due to not being able to verify information. How can this be resolved? The billing name and address is all correct and my card is charged, so what is going on!?

Generally speaking, errors of this nature have to do with the card issuer declining the charge once we go to finalize the purchase. While you may see that it is charged on your banking institutions end after placing your order this is only a hold that is done to ensure the card is valid and funds are available. Thereafter, we do a final charge to fully authorize the order. If there is any discrepancies with the payment information then the banking institution will decline the charge and the hold will be released. I would suggest reaching out to the banking institution to ensure that everything is in order. If they have an all clear on their end you're welcome to reach back out and we'll see what we can find on our end!

It’s a Best Buy credit card and there is nothing wrong on their end. The billing name and address matches and Best Buy customer service couldn’t find any issues when I called in about all my orders being automatically canceled. Orders placed with a gift card are also not working. There’s something wrong on Best Buy’s end because the funds are there.
