Online order placed at BBY Store - Nikon D850

I visited the BBY store in Kennesaw, GA on 06/07/2018 and placed an order for Nikon D850 Camera Body.  At the time of placing the order, the item showed as available with a ship-by-date of June 15, 2018 (my order status still shows the same date todate).  The BBY associate who helped me placing the order reaffirmed the ship-by-date by stating that the usual processing time is about 2-4 days from the date of order placement based on a couple of orders he had placed for other customers a week prior which were fulfilled within the week.  Based on shipment date promised (which is June 15, 2018), I have gone ahead with the purchase.  Subsequently, since the order status online has not progressed from "Processing" even after a few days, I called BBY customer service telephone number, when I was told that the item is not available; that it is on backorder; and, that there is no date that could be given to me as to by when the item will be available again.

 

Not receiving the new camera D850 by June 15, 2018 will be a major let down to me and my vacation plans.  Hence, would request BBY team to look into this order and ensure that the item is shipped by promised date.  Thank you.

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. Having great images to remember your vacation is super important, so I totally get why you want to make sure the camera makes it to you by then.
