I placed an order on Thursday 9/22/2022, Its an Xbox X 1TB financed through Citizens one. I was told It'd be ready for pick up on Tuesday 9-27, but was later changed to Wed 9-28. Its been in "Preparing for pickup Today" since tuesday. I called the best buy help line and was given a tracking #; was told by the representative that id pick up my Xbox by today 9/28 but upon checking the tracking number the shipment had left Los Angeles at 1:27am 9/28/22. The label wasnt created till Monday and the package never left until Wed 9/28. Why are the shipping dates estimated to be 3-7 days if we're waiting longer than that? Why do I need to call a help line to get a tracking number only to find out the shipment is taking longer than expected and BestBuy only gives a run around. I will be contacting Citizens One to cancel my order with BestBuy considering my local Walmart has them in stock. All around if your ordering an xbox series x with best buy through citizens one make sure its in stock other wise youll be waiting longer than the estimated 7 days of delivery and are not told of this unless you call the call center and ask for tracking # details.

Forgot to mention that UPS website says "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible." wont see the Xbox till next week if i dont cancel.

Best Buy tries their best to have the inventory ready to fulfill your order. However things happen at times where they cannot fufill the order immediately due to the inventory that is present inside the store. When that happens an alternative solution is presented which they will channel the inventory from other stores to get your order ready.
The downside is that it will take a couple of more days in order to fulfill it but you will get a pickup email when it gets to the store. I know that it is frustrating but it will be worth the wait once you get it in your hands as it still is a hot item to get ahold of.
