Online Item delivery "delayed" and can't get a refund. It has been 8 months...

In December of 2021 we purchased a speaker through BestBuy online. It is now July of 2022 an we have yet to receive the speaker and we can't seem to get help from BestBuy or UPS. I outlined what has happened so far. 

 

12/11 - Order Placed online. The conformation email said to expect deliver by 12/15.

12/15 - Received an email saying there would be a delay in shipment and we will receive notice when the item has shipped. This was purchased as a christmas gift so that was dissapointing but we figured we could just return it if we didn't receive the speaker on time. 

 

The next email received was not until 1/13 stating that the speaker had shipped.

When I order something online, I expect to receive it as soon as possible, or be provided options if that doesn't happen, so I understand your frustration.
