OnTrac Delivery Marked as Delivered But There is No Package

My order was marked as delivered by the OnTrac delivery driver but it was never delivered. It said it was delivered to my front door. Before anyone suggests that I look in my backyard or elsewhere, I live in a dense Los Angeles neighborhood. I have no backyard, porch, or anywhere else where a delivery driver can place things. It's either at my front door or they didn't deliver it to where I actually live. I've already an inquiry with OnTrac. But they're probably not going to do anything. I'm going to give them and BestBuy a day to resolve this. If by the end of the day tomorrow I don't have my package, I'll be doing a chargeback on my card. Thanks.

Sometimes Ontrac can be a bit tricky for me as well. One of the things that I did with Ontrac was that when you click on delivery on the tracking page through the Ontrac website you can actually provide instructions to them for future deliveries to your address so if you want them to knock or leave it somewhere they will have it on file.

 

It's helped me tremendously as I live in a gated apartment complex and to get inside the building one has to dial an access code which rings my landline and I let them in.
