Not receiving return confirmation e-mail/status change for order return resulting in no refund

Hi,

 

For order #{removed per forum guidelines}, I returned 2 copies of "Gattaca [SteelBook] [Includes Digital Copy] [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray/Blu-ray] 1997" because they arrived damaged. I clicked on "Return & Support Options" on the site and selected "Product arrived with damage" which led me to the page with a pre-generated UPS return label and return details for my items. I sent out my return via UPS and didn't bother to keep track of the UPS tracking information because I assumed the return confirmation details were sent to my e-mail.

 

However, it turns out the return confirmation details were not sent to my e-mail and the status of these items do not reflect "return requested." In fact, I can start the return process all over again multiple times and generate new UPS labels over and over again for the same order.

 

I previously encountered the same website bug with order #{removed per forum guidelines} for item "Ghost in the Shell [SteelBook] [Digital Copy] [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray/Blu-ray] [Only @ Best Buy] 1996." This order also never changed status to "return requested" and even though I shipped it out with the UPS label the website gave me, Best Buy never acknowledged receiving my return (even though the order number/item was printed out packaged in the return package) and never issued a refund.

 

I didn't follow up the previous time because it was for a lower priced item, but now it appears to be happening again. Can you help me see what UPS tracking numbers have been generated for order  #{removed per forum guidelines} and help process my refund? I should have used the first UPS tracking number to send it back. Thank you.

Welcome to our forums, and thank you for sharing your experience with us.  I know whenever I return an order of mine I hope to get my refund as soon as possible, so it’s disappointing to hear there seems to be a delay with your most recent return order.

 

As you can see, we’ve removed your private information from the public view of our Support Forums, so I’d like to continue this trend by asking you to send me a private message using the blue “Private Message” button in my signature with the following information:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number

 

This should be enough information for me to begin my research.  As mentioned, be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to keep this private information out of the public view of our forums, and if you’re accessing our site on a mobile device, you may need to switch to “Full” or “Desktop” view before this button is visible to you.
