I'm a veteran working for the military community overseas and as everyone knows video cards are really hard to get and while BestBuy has some video cards available on their webiste none of them are available for shipping which screws anyone in the military community overseas.
"EVGA - SC ULTRA GAMI... is no longer available for shipping.
Sorry about that! You still might be able to get it if you check nearby stores for availability."
Nearby stores? Two thousand miles away is not nearby.
Why have cards on your website if you can't order them and get them shipped?

Because items are regionally available in all markets its possible the stock for your market was out while another area hasthe stock. Also because a lot of these cards are popular right now, they release them in controllable quantity but you will never know when it exactly in stock because it is random.

He did, he was explaining that they were not available for shipping online because they are only available to pick up in local stores.
"Nearby stores? Two thousand miles away is not nearby"
I understand your concern, this same concern applies to any customer from remote parts within the US that also do not have a Best Buy nearby. In an effort to combat fraud and resellers, Best Buy's strategy is to allow them to be paid for and reserved in store. Then you can go pick them up. As demand levels off and more product becomes available, they may revisit the way in which they are offered. Once we reach a point where they don't sell out in seconds and are available to pickup by walking in, they will likely be offered online for shipping as well.
"Why have cards on your website if you can't order them and get them shipped?"
Simple, the graphics cards (much the same as the new gaming consoles also in high demand) are paid for online and reserved for local pickup. This ensures there is not a "feeding frenzy" atmosphere in store during the COVID pandemic in which it would be hard to maintain social distancing. When they're bought online, they have a window of time in which to come in and safely pick up their item. This allows them to spread out and shop safely.

It was marked as a solution by the moderators because the information that I provided is correct. At this time, the process for these items doesn't include shipping as I previously mentioned. Unfortunately sometimes the answer is not the one we wanted to hear. I wish you the best.

It appears Bestbuy has decided to cease all support for military personel overseas. I want a specific AND OFFICIAL reason as to why this is?

Your answer here: https://forums.bestbuy.com/t5/BestBuy-com/No-support-for-the-Military-community-overseas/m-p/1373475 was already provided as Best Buy mods marked the answer as a solution. They will only do so if the information is correct and accurate and would be the same answer that they would give you direct.
