I purchased several items at the beginning of this week and picked them up VIA curbside contactless delivery. When placing the order online, I specifically made sure to tick the option for "add gift receipt". When I went to pickup the items, no gift receipt was provided and the employee told me he could not get me one. I have already given the three items to my daughter (who lives a few hours away). However, two of the items she already has. So, how does she go about returning the items for store credit without a gift receipt? If I email her the original receipt I received when paying, will that suffice when she goes and returns the items? I know there are other things she needs from BB, so I assumed she would receive store credit since it was a gift.

Thanks for joining our online community. I'm sorry for the delay in response during these strange times.
Our Return and Exchange Promise states, "We will provide you store credit for the purchase price of a gift you return in store. For gifts returned via mail, we will credit the gift purchaser and notify them via email." So long as the product is still carried in Best Buy retail locations, your daughter should be able to receive store credit for the items. In most cases, a gift receipt may not be required. It may be helpful to provide your order numbers to your daughter, just in case she would ultimately like to place a return and send you a refund instead.
