No excuse for this!

I purchased a gaming PC online for $850 on 1-6. I received it on 1-8 and after taking 2 days to install all the things I bought the computer for, I started to question the quality of the PC and found they had sent me the $599 one. I feel this was a scam and If it was someone else they may not have caught it and paid for a lesser machine! I called and they reordered the cmpiter I was supposed to get. I was supposed to receive it on 1-13, I took day off work so I could be home to sign for it. I was notified on 1-13 that it was delayed. I had to call to find out it was delayed to 1-27! None of this info was on my best buy. Now today, 1-16 I receive a text saying my order was cancelled. Just a text with no details why! It said go to my best buy, which surprise there was no information. So I chatted with online agent who said “ oh sorry its no longer available.” So then they went on to quote me a “comparable” gaming pc that was $350 more! So now I am out a computer even longer! This is completely unacceptable and all I get is oh we are sorry! So now I have to wait on my refund so I can order another PC. I feel best buy should do more when they are at fault!

Thank you for the response. Yes I took the PC back to my local best buy and it was returned. My biggest issue was most places when they make mistakes try to fix their mistake by maybe offering something comparable at a discount or something. Only thing I got was a quote for a PC almost $400 more! No discount or anything. I have already ordered another PC and hopefully have it by next week almost a month after the original purchase.

Best Buy did absolutely nothing to "work with me!" They ordered me a replacement, then lied about when I would get it and then cancelled it on me saying it was no longer available a week later! Best Buy did nothing but continue to screw this up and the only thing they did was recommend another PC that cost $400 more! Worthless!
