New Order - Duplicated by BedtBuy error

Called BestBuy to place an order for a mini fridge

BestBuy took/placed the order over the telephone.

Later received two email confirmations for 2 orders.

Tried to call back but phone backlogged til 10pm

Called BestBuy next morning to inform

Was told both orders had been processed to ship

Was told that after processing orders not cancelled

Was told I could return extra unit to store for refund

I informed BestBuy that error was due to BestBuy

BestBuy offerred no further recourse for their error

Was told to "have a nice day"

Very disappointing BestBut process

My credit card has been billed for both orders

Again. Very disappointing

How strange that two orders were placed when you only wanted to place one order! I know that I would be feeling pretty upset if I unexpectedly incurred charges for an item I didn't intend to purchase. I'm sorry that you're in this situation, and that you've had a difficult time connecting with us to discuss this. Thanks for letting us know that this happened. Do you need any assistance with returning one of the fridges and getting the refund for it processed through?
