Need help with PayPal Refund

Hi, can a bestbuy person help me with the following issue? I purchased a computer monitor online on July 28th using my PayPal account. I got the mointor delvered on July 31st. I did not open it and returned it at a local Best Buy store. I got the hardcopy return reciept and an online copy of the return receipt. Stating that the money would be refunded back to my PayPal account. Its been a week and the money still has not been posted to my PayPal account. I have purchased lot of things via BB in the past using PayPal and the money gets refunded within hours. I contacted PayPal and opened up a case, and they told me that it was closed today, beause BB told them credit was issued. But I am not seeing it in my PayPal account. I would have thought that BB would have used the same PayPal transaction to refund the money back. Again this has never happened to me. I can provide the BB order number via PM/DM. Thanks.

I am still waiting for someone from bby to respond to my query. Looks like some other folks are also having the same issue with PayPal refunds. Can we get a response/ resolution to our issue. I am out lot of money due to this PayPal issue. Thanks.

This forum is not intended to replace the normal customer service channels, the moderators reply in the order posts are made. They will respond when they reach your post in their queue, currently looks like 3-4 days. They appreciate your patience as they help the customers ahead of you.

Our teams are working diligently to process PayPal refunds as quickly as we can, as a delay has been identified with these recently. That being said, you will likely see a delay in your funds being returned.
