My package didn't arrive but it said delivered

I ordered a laptop from best buy and the ups send me mail that its delivered on front door but i was at work and my father went down stairs to see it after i get the email and didn't find anything i spoke to ups and they told me they will call me back but they didn't and i spoke to an agent in best buy customer service and she said she gonna make a refund but i didn't got any email with a refund and she said it gonna take from 7 to 16 days but there is no emails arrived and she told me keep checking your email but i didn't got any email or any refund what should i do know should i go to the nearest store close to me or what i need help please

Because a laptop is a high dollar item, an investigation and or claim has to be initiated by Best Buy in order to exercise any replacement options they may have for you. This may take up to the timeframe you mentioned here in order to do so.

 

Best Buy can't just refund a laptop like that because it was missing, investigations always take place first Smiley Happy

Welcome to our forums, albeit under such unfortunate circumstances.  Getting an email confirming your order’s delivery should be cause for celebration, so it’s disappointing to hear this experience has been soured thus far. 

 

It looks like hockeycanuckjc is correct here and has provided some great insight that I hope you’ve found useful.  As they’ve mentioned, we’ll need to look into this order further to explore what options might be available, which could take some time.

 

With that said, if you’ve not yet received any follow-up from UPS or Best Buy regarding this order, I’ll be happy to take a closer look and offer any assistance I can.  For me to get started, I’ll just need you to send me a private message with the following information:

 

  • Your first and last name

Thank you for replying i got the mail refund i was disappointed but i know its not best buy fault may be its the delivery guy fault because they never ring the bells and my father went down as soon as i got the email but the problem was that i received the email at 9:02 and the package arrived before that at 8:33 may be its stolen or something i really don't know but i learned a lesson never to order an expensive items online
