My account is hacked today or perhaps it's something else (?)

Somebody used my account to buy Apple watch.

Here is the order number: {removed per forum guidelines}

I have since changed my bestBuy password.

I admit that my password was very week.  Lesson learned!!!

 

BestBuy, would you please investigate?

This order has been quickly canceled. My credit card has not been charged - no transaction activity observed.

FYI, The intruder was from SC.

He used my accout just as a FRONT so that he could use some other stolen credit cards.

From the history, one record was shown denied and the other one was shown sucessful.

He did not use my credit card on file.

Having your account hijacked like that is always a scary experience, and I’m sorry to hear that this happened to you. Getting your password changed is a great first step. It is also great to her that your credit card wasn’t charged. At this point it is likely that the order has already arrived at the fraudulent purchaser’s location of it shipped out by Saturday, so we would not be able to attempt to intercept it anymore.

 

If you’d like an investigation into this, your best course of action would be to repost this fraudulent activity to your local police. If they reach out to use we’ll be happy so assist them with their investigation. Please see this article for additional information.
