My RTX 3080 came with missing dust covers and questionable tampering on item

I recently purchased a ASUS ROG Strix 3080 OC. I was super happy that I managed to finally get one but when it came in, the shipping box was all beat up. The GPU package box had rips around that tab by the seal sticker, even though the seal was intact. I blamed shipping at first but when I opened it, the peels on the GPU itself had dust under it as if someone had stuck it back on after taking it off. The HDMI ports didn't have the dust covers that you can pull off and it seems that the peels on the fans of the GPU are missing (not sure if they are supposed to be there or not). I tried to ask Customer Support to see if they had a log of this item to tell me if this was originally returned as a closed-box (unopened) item and maybe I ended up receiving it. I didn't get any straight answers from them aside from just returning it if it is not to my satisfaction. What should I do? Has anyone had issues like this from Bestbuy high ticket online orders like this one?
