Missing or Stolen Package

Hello,

 

I would like to find out about my options for a recent package that was either misdelivered or stolen.  

 

I made an order on BestBuy.com on Friday May 3rd, which contained 2 items.  They were shipped separately.  One of the packages arrived as expected the next day.  The other package has not arrived, although the USPS tracking number shows that it was delivered on Monday, May 6th.  My apartment complex has a central location for mailboxes and they are individually locked.  I checked my mailbox within an hour after the package was marked delivered and it was not there.  I was home at the time and no attempt was made to deliver it to my door.  2 days later, I also checked my complex's package room and asked the office staff about it and we were not able to locate the package.

 

I have waited a few days to contact you as sometimes packages will be marked as delivered and then show up a day later. On Friday, May 10th, I went to my local post office and inquired about the package.  They did a search of their facility and said that they would let my letter carrier know what had happened and to double-check his truck, but as of today it still has not arrived.

 

Is there anything that Best Buy can do to help me out?  I would be happy to provide further information via private message.
