I recently purchased the 55" Vizio OLED TV at full price ($1300), and yesterday Best Buy had a 1-day only sale with the same TV marked down $400. When I got home from work I immediately sat down and tried to get it price matched via online chat. During my queue I was constantly hit with "technical issues" and "reconnections", but I didn't think much of it because I was always reconnected and retained by place in line. Once I was connected with an agent I told them I was wanting to price match. They asked for my order number and phone number, but when they asked for which item on the order I wanted to price match my response seemingly didn't go through because they asked if I was still there, I responded "yes" but they ultimately ended the chat for lack of response (even though I had responded). I tried again, but the next agent I was connected with didn't even respond to my initial message, after a short amount of time they asked if I was still there (I responded "yes") then they ended the chat. So I tried calling 1-888-BEST-BUY, but it didn't even ring; all I got was the sound when someone hangs up on you. Over the next 3 hours, I tried calling and I tried using the online chat, but I was met with the same issues. I was unable to get the price matched. I filled out the survey at the end of each online chat and requested the transaction be emailed to me, but, as of this morning, I've yet to receive a single email. I tried the online chat again this morning and it worked flawlessly, but the agent said that they were unable to price match it because the TV was no longer at that price. I understand the policy, but it is very frustrating to spend hours of your time and ultimately miss out on a $400 drop in price because of issues on Best Buy's end.
Is there anything that can be done to remedy this? Or am I just out of luck?

Welcome back to our community forums. Our Price Match Guarantee is a great way to make sure you're getting the best price possible, I appreciate you writing to us about these issues getting in touch with us. That's quite a big difference in price so I can understand wanting to make sure you take advantage of this.
We are only able to process a price match when that sale is currently available and in stock. Once that price is no longer available we would be unable to honor that price. It does sound strange that you were having such a difficult time getting in touch with us and I'd like to take a closer look into this.
