Hi there, everyone!
Thank you for letting us know about this. We certainly want our customers to receive products that are in excellent condition, especially with a highly-anticipated release like this. Our shipping teams work to protect merchandise, with the ultimate-goal being for it to arrive as the manufacturer intended, and in pristine condition. That said, there may be factors that could cause some unexpected damage, regardless of the effort that went into that step.
When it comes to collector’s editions, those are often considered a display piece. We fully understand that physical damage, even to the box itself, would cause some frustration, which is never our intent. In this circumstance, due to limited availability, we cannot replace those that arrived in less than perfect condition. That said, we are happy to help out with a return under our Return & Exchange Promise. Provided the product has not been opened, it can be returned during the return period for a refund, if you decide you do not want to keep it in the condition it was received.
Sincerely,

I'm sorry Sarah, but I don't really view that as an acceptable solution. My box didn't even have packing material in it, just the collector's edition banging around. It clearly wasn't the mail carriers fault that it was damaged, the outer box was actually ok. I just got a collector's edition game in from another company and it arrived perfectly because it was packed with care.
The way this was shipped to me is like Best Buy was just rushing it out the door and didn't care about who was on the recieving end. Now the choice is keep this damaged item that can never be replaced, or return it to the company that essentially damaged it in the first place.
This isn't the kind of situation you should place customers in.
