MONTH delay on laptop

  1. August 20th I went to the store to buy a MacBook Air, they were out so I ordered it. It was supposed to be ready for pick up today, an hour or so ago I got a text saying the order was delayed by a month possibly! That if it’s not ready  by September 28th it’ll get cancelled. I start college Monday, I really need my MacBook to be here soon.

Facing the same issue with a Macbook Air. They are just not shipping the laptop, and the support is absolutely clueless. Moreover, I cannot even modify or cancel my order now!

Welcome to our Best Buy forum community! We know that finding the perfect laptop for your school work is a big decision, so we appreciate that you placed your order with us. However, I can understand how that email would leave you feeling concerned with school starting, so I'm glad you shared this with us.

 

As a pre-caution, our system will provide an estimated arrival date a month out if there is any delay with an order. I can understand how that would be startling if you weren't aware that's what happened. It was not our intention to cause any worry, so it hurts me to learn that's how we made you feel.
