Lost package

My package was missing. Plus the guy at the store told us that the package will have to need a signature. However, UPS tracking claims the package was left at the “front door” but the package is not there. We asked couple of times if we could just pick it up at other locations but they said I have to cancel it from the store. First of all we asked it is available in other locations but for some reasons he said maybe they bot have the store but the day after I checked it online guess what? They have it in stock at atlantic ave barclay center best buy! We could have gone there to get it ourselves but he wanted to make a sale. Plus I’m purchased an item worth Thousands of dollars and should not leave the package on front door without a signature. Or a person received it.
