I lost a physical Best Buy gift card I had purchased on the website. I talked to four different people who said they could not help me with replacing the gift card because I didn't have the gift card number. Well duh, I don't have the gift card number because I lost it. Why does Best Buy state in their gift card policy they can replace a lost gift card if a receipt is provided if they have no way of looking up the gift card based on the purchase information? If someone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
