I placed an order online. Best Buy used Shipt to deliver the item. The item was over $1,000 and thus required an adult signature for a proof of delivery. However, I received a text message from Shipt, saying the item was left at the door. I immediately checked my door step but did not find the package. I also checked my security cam. No one was recorded for the past an hour or so. Clearly, the package was not delivered.
I contacted Best Buy via the online chat. The rep apologized and placed a replacement order immediately. This time, I chose a local store pickup and the item should be ready on the same date. However, the status had been "preparing" for three days. I contacted Best Buy again, and the rep told me that the case is under "investigation", which will be completed in 24-48 hours. Now, after 48 hours, the status is still "preparing."
I also contacted Shipt, but the rep said since the delivery order was mady by Best Buy, they can do nothing. Shipt admitted that they did not get any proof of delivery (photo or signature) from the delivery person. So, it is apparent the delivery is never completed. Shipt rep promised to send a report to Best Buy.
