Laptop purchase

I bought a laptop online but when I attempted to purchase the item, my card declined. So I called my financial institution and waited on the phone for an hour and a half (I’m not exaggerating, I have the entire phone call timestamp) to let them know I will be making a large purchase online so they don’t lock my account again as it was locked once. I verified my identity and the transaction went through and I verified by opening my bank mobile app and the transaction went through but its pending. But when I called the store I purchased the laptop at, they told me that the process is on hold, which perplexed my because I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone, most of which was me waiting which was about an hour and 15 minutes waiting and the other 15 minutes actually speaking to a representative, just to make make sure the transaction goes through, but when I called to ask if my order was ready for pickup the guy who attended me told me that the transaction is on hold. Can I get any insight onto whats going on? This is my first time purchasing at a Best Buy, but I hope that my future experiences aren’t the same as this one. I can provide an order number if necessary, but the store I purchased the item at was Arden.

Welcome to our community forums. Buying a laptop is no small purchase and I can certainly imagine your excitement to pick this up. While most orders are available to be picked up within an hour, larger orders may take longer to process.
