Just noticed that an unusual number of the "Social Media Specialists" were registered on this forum the same two days back in 2021 (11/08/2021 and 11/24/2021). I just opened up profiles from the ones helping on the first page and 8 were registered on those two days, so most of the ones helping people with serious issues..
So, I can't say with 100% that this is not normal of course, however, I am pretty certain now that a lot of customers posting here on your support forums are still dealing with an outsourced contractor...possibly even the same ones from the phone and online chat. I suspect that the accounts are just used by multiple different people over the years. I guess Best Buy could prove me wrong by actually getting someone with authority to call me back...but I know that will not happen.
What a joke...

Technically this is another issue for me as I already was denied my Price Match request and understand there is nothing I can do as a long-time Best Buy customer (30 years almost). I now suspect that I still have not communicated with anyone that works directly for Best Buy corporate. My complaint about Best Buy Customer Support was also never addressed at all with a supervisor or manager and my case was never escalated in any way, even though that is what I requested, again as a long-time customer. No one at Best Buy has even 5 minutes to speak personally with a customer that just spend $3k on the phone...at the very least just lie to me and say that the case was escalated...at least I have a name of a real person if I need to take any further actions. Instead I have made up names from phone and chat Customer Support....and maybe even the same here on these forums right...no name, no employee ID...nothing...
I still need my concerns addressed seriously is I guess what I am saying. Just to reiterate, in this post/"support ticket" I am saying that I now suspect that the mods here are outsourced contractors, even though they pretend to be a direct employees of Best Buy. If that is incorrect I apologize, but without a phone call from a real person I have no way to know right.
Do you deny what I am saying Bryant? Can you confirm please, here in this public forum, that 100% of the "Social Media Specialist" mods that are posting here are directly employed by Best Buy corporate and are working in the US. You took the time to warn me about the forum guidelines but failed to address the accusation/question.

As I stated before I have documented you feedback into our corporate system for internal reviewing. I can confirm that I'm a actually person in the US that works for Best Buy corporate office. If I had the capability to make outgoing call I would call you, but that is something I can't do. I understand your concerns and the best thing I can do for you today is document your feedback into our corporate system. If you are wanting to speak to someone over the phone I would suggest to call 1-888-237-8289 and request for a supervisor.

I did request a supervisor when I called 1-888-237-8289...this was my experience:
I am truly concerned if this is the only support I can get from Best Buy. Not even trying to be malicious at this point tbh...I am just not rich enough to take any big purchase risks with a retailer that treats its loyal customers this way. At this point, from what I can tell, most on these forums are talking to the same void as 1-888-237-8289.
