Item says delivered but wasn’t and had worst customer service

Mac laptop wasn’t delivered and both Best Buy and fedex said it was. Roommate was by the buzzer all morning and outside in the afternoon On the front stoop when said delivery occurred. No delivery anywhere. Couldn’t reach fedex so called Best Buy that day was told not to worry replacement would be sent. Called two days later was told don’t worry replacement will be shipped after 48-72 hour normal protocol. Called after 72 hrs were up was told that I had to wait two more days because initial delivery said it would be sent by that date even though both Best Buy and FedEx updated delivery to the earlier day when it was supposedly delivered so idk how waiting two more days would change anything when the item was supposedly delivered. On fedex proof page it said signed by packagrea which doesn’t make sense because there was no one to sign for it. Also if Best Buy has contract with fedex they should choose to place signature requirement on expensive items. Called supervisor two days later when I got email saying investigation completed and won’t get refund or replacement. Called to talk to supervisor was put on hold 20 min then told I would be called back that day there was no call back. Called next day reached a supervisor after being on hold for 40 min. Was told they can’t do anything. That they have a contract with fedex which I don’t see how that’s my problem they need to figure it out with fedex. Was told the investigation consisted of them asking fedex if it was delivered to address Best Buy had on file and fedex said yes because what else would they say and wala that was it. I could’ve done that much. I told Best Buy day one it says delivered to my address and it wasn’t. Was told to talk to fedex and law enforcement on day 7. I’m sorry you just wasted and entire week and should’ve told me you were good for nothing day one. Now I’ve waited a week to call fedex and law enforcement because you reassured me and did not do your job. The worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. Will never buy anything from here nor will I allow other I know to do so. Idk how a company runs like this. Even when I called Apple to cancel my apple care Apple found it weird that their retailers etc wouldn’t refund me and if I had bought it from Apple they probably would’ve. I only got it from Best Buy because they claimed it would be sent fast. Never believe them about anything. I see so many forum posts about them doing this to others. Maybe they should figure out their own contract with delivery companies and do a proper investigation. Never again
