Issues with UE Megaboom order, twice, are these refurbished?

I placed an order for a UE Megaboom on Oct 6th and picked it up in-store on the 14th.  When I brought it home and opened it, it was plainly obvious it was used.  The rubber cover with the volume buttons show signs of wear and scuffs.  Looking at the box, I releaized the serial numbers did not match!  I packged it up and returned it the next day, and ordered a replacement at the same time.  Tonight I went back to BB, for the second time, to pick up my order.  This time I opened it in front of the cashier, and what do you know, same issue!  The ruber shows scuff marks, the serial numbers do not match, even the model number does not match the box.  I returned it on the spot, and ordered yet another, once again.  What do I need to do to get what I ordered, in new condition, with product and serial numbers that match the packaging??

I’m sorry to hear about your online purchase! Unless our site specifically out that the Bluetooth speaker is refurbished, you should be able to expect that the item shipped to you is new in box. Given the lengths you’ve gone to resolve this to no avail, I appreciate you reaching out to us here at the corporate office to let us know of the problem.

 

As most products we have in stock come directly through the manufacturer or through trusted vendor partners, I’m not sure what’s ultimately causing the mix-up you’re reporting; however, please let me know if the second replacement you’ve ordered through your local store arrives in a similar state as the last two. I’ll be more than happy to review your case further to see what’s going on and figure out what options we may have available to assist you.

Thanks for your reply, and I will do that, if I ever receive this order. I just got an email saying my order is delayed with no date in sight. Can't you just send a different color, or send me to a local store that has this in stock?? This is really starting to annoy me...
