International order cancelled by Best buy and refund not received yet

Order no.  {removed per forum guidelines}

 

I am from India and i placed this order from India to be shipped to Texas , US.

I paid the amount from my Indian Debit Card.

But my order was cancelled by Best Buy , reason - we were unable to verify your information.

 

Then i read on the internet that for international orders , you have to fill the billing address given by Best Buy -10780 Kempwood Dr. Houston, TX 77043.

 

Then i placed the order again from my other account

 

Order no.  {removed per forum guidelines}

 

And again my order was cancelled by Best Buy but both the times the amount was deducted from my account.

Till now i have not received my money back.

Kindly tell me when will i get my money back and also why my order was cancelled.

There are many reasons that an order may be cancelled in our systems. Did you receive an automated email from us providing a reason for the cancellations? If so, what was the reason provided in that email?

In most cases, Best Buy does not collect a charge from a credit or debit card until the order has been shipped or is ready for pickup at a store. Best Buy does, however, send an authorization to the card on file, which is a way to digitally check to and see that a charge would be able to be collected from the card on file once an order is fulfilled. If your orders were cancelled, any authorizations should be automatically released back to the card on file. Most financial institutions will process the release on their end within a few business days, possibly longer on international credit cards.

Yes i received an automated email from Best Buy.

 

The reason provided in that mail was - Unfortunately, we were unable to verify your information, so we canceled item(s) from your order. 

 

Kindly check and tell me why my order was cancelled

I would encourage you to try to replace the order by calling us at (800) 237-8289, or by replacing it online, taking care to ensure that the billing and shipping addresses are appropriately formatted. You might also want to consider placing the order for store pickup instead of shipping. If you continue to encounter issues, please send me a Private Message with your full name, email address, and phone number.
