I need to contact a legal department as a Fraud of a transaction has been made when making a purchase at bestbuy.com with an international credit card number not issued in the USA. I am the actual owner of the card and it is in my possession (in a different country). Please, detect the scammers since the transaction has been charged. Cancel all orders and report to authorities.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us on the Best Buy forum! I’m very disheartened to hear that someone you don’t know has used your card to make an order. I had a stranger use my credit card a few years ago so I can totally understand a part of what you’re going through.
Regarding what next steps to take, please refer to our Knowledge Base article called “Help with Unauthorized Orders on BestBuy.com”. At this point, you’re going to need to contact your credit card issuer or bank to report the incident. Please follow their advice when you speak with them. As for contacting authorities, filing a report with your local law enforcement would certainly be an option for you. Your local law enforcement can reach out to Best Buy for additional information by sending a fax to (612) 291-9200.
As for trying to locate and cancel the order that was placed, I’d be happy to see what I can do. Can you please provide your full name, phone number, and email address to me in a private message so I can get started? If you were sent any emails with an order number, that would also be extremely helpful.
