Inactive Amazon Gift Cards bought from store

I had an online purchase for in store pickup with several Amazon gift cards back in April {removed per forum guidelines}, and when I picked up the gift cards, the rep first handed the cards to me. He walked away from my car briefly and then returned and said he needed to take the gift cards back in. After 5-10 minutes in store, he returned and said it was ok. Altogether, I had 3x$100 Amazon, 3x$50 Amazon and 3x$25 Amazon. When I got home, I was able to redeem the $100s, but scanning all the $50 and $25 gift cards showed a "Gift Card Invalid" message.

 

I returned to the store the next day and explained the situation, and the representative tried for several minutes to refund the transaction for the inactivated gift cards but was unable to. She suggested I call into the phone support. When I called into the phone support, they stated they were trying to but unable to reactivate the gift cards. They suggested I return to the store...

 

I tried to figure out a solution with my credit card company that I paid with, but after 2 months, they were unable to refund the difference. 

 

I tried reaching out to Best Buy support via email, and their response was to return to the store.

 

I am being sent in circles, and I am out 3x$50 Amazon and 3x$25 Amazon gift cards that I have paid for now and not received.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us here on our community forums. Having purchased quite a few gift cards in the past, I know I would be quite surprised to try and use one only to see it wasn't activated. I appreciate you letting us know about your experience getting assistance with this purchase and I'd like to see what options I may have to help.
