In-Store pickup problem.

I placed an order on 3/18.  There was no delivery option for the item, I could only choose in-store pickup.  It was supposed to be available for pick-up on 3/20.  

 

On 3/20, the order was delayed.  The website says "We're sorry, we're working on it."  I called customer service and they said it hadn't arrived from the manufacturer yet.  

 

Yesterday, a second hold was placed on my card for the amount of the item, but the website never updated.  I called customer service again to ask why another hold was put on the card and was told the item was at the store and I should get an email yesterday or today with pick-up info.

 

Today has come and gone, and the website still hasn't updated and I still haven't received an e-mail.

 

Why would I get charged a second time if the item isn't ready?
