I was charged for an order that I canceled?

I preordered a special edition of a game a month ago then I found out that I wouldn’t be able to pick it up for a week after it was released, even though I was told it would be there on release day. Anyway, I canceled my pre-order when I found this out, then went to the store to buy the standard edition. However, I just checked today, and I was charged for that initial price of the special edition. The game isn’t coming up on my order page on Best Buy, so I did cancel it. Why did I get charged? Will I get refunded?

I hate to hear you didn't end up getting your pre-ordered special edition, but I hope you're enjoying the standard edition of the game. I can understand wondering why your pre-order charge would still be on your account, and I'm curious if you've seen this drop off your statement yet?
