Horrible Customer Service

I have spent DAYS trying to sort out an issue with an Egift Card reading as invalid. Contacted Best Buy, was told to contact Cashstar. Contacted Cashstar, was told to contact Best Buy. This has happened TWICE. I was given incorrect links to irrelevant information, phone numbers to the WRONG customer support (One was to Home Depot!) and finally, a number that DOESN'T EVEN DIAL WHEN CALLED. I have been run around in circles for days and have basically just had my money stolen from me. NOT amused with any of this. Will NEVER be doing business with Best Buy again. I hope other people haven't had such horrible experiences, but I sure have.

Re: Horrible Customer Service

Welcome to our community, although I'd rather your joining was us under happier circumstances. There is almost nothing worse than making a plea for help and being rewarded with a runaround. I've had it happen too! What you've described is not the stellar experience to which we aspire and I apologize for our having provided frustration instead of assistance.

I'd like to look into this for you, but will need some information to begin. I realize this is likely repetitive for you, but I hope you'll bear with me. If you will please send me a private message that includes the following, I’ll do my best to help:

  • Your full name
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number
  • Your Cashstar order number (if you have it)
  • The gift card number (please do NOT include the PIN)

To send me a private message, please click the button labeled "Private Message" in my signature below.

I look forward to hearing from you.
