Help with Multiple Preorder Charges

BestBuy.com has charged me three times now for my preorder of the Dunkirk Steelbook. This is quite unacceptable and I would really like to find a way to correct it so I don’t keep getting charged $35 multiple times.

Welcome to our forums.  I’m sorry for the delay in our response to your post, as we’ve become a bit backlogged on our Support Forums during this busy holiday season.  With that said, I appreciate your patience, and I hope to answer your questions.

 

Using the information you’ve provided upon joining our forums, I see your order for the Dunkirk SteelBook has recently been delivered.  For future reference, per our Entertainment Pre-Order FAQs, your card will only be charged once your item has shipped.  Any pending charges you may see on your card before the product ships are authorization requests, which are applied to make sure the funds are available before we ship your product.  Now that the product has shipped, your pending charge should be completed, and I see you’ve only been charged once for this particular SteelBook.

This happened with me as well and reading a lot about the same problem on this forum. Even i am really frustrated by making calls to customer support. Not getting any help on phone nor on forums. I think we should plan filling complaint against Bestbuy and claim for interest.
