In October 17th I tried to buy an eshop card and used paypal to pay, but for whatever reason Best Buy immediately cancelled the order. According to paypal, the refund was completed, but when I look at the transactions for the bank account tied to it, I never got my refund?? There’s a charge there, taking the money out for the order that was cancelled, but there’s nothing in my bank account that says I got the money back. Like I said, this happened the 17th, so it’s been over a week now.
It is not. I did not use my Paypal balance to pay, I used my bank account, through Paypal. My Paypal balance is the same as it was before, so it’s not that. The money has not yet put back into my bank account, despite Paypal marking the refund as complete.
If PayPal has marked it complete, then it would be advisable to contact their customer service. Return funds go Best Buy > PayPal > Your bank. If they have it marked as complete, then they have both received the funds and claim to have sent it back to your account. If the funds are not there, this is the step it is stuck at.
