Haven’t Received My Full Gift Card Refund

Two gift cards were sent to me as a gift. A $25 gift card, and a $50 gift card. I decided to buy a $60 video game with the gift cards. I used the full $25 on the $25 card, and the rest was paid for with the $50 card. I changed my mind and cancelled the order. I received a refund on the $25 card, but I did not receive any refund on the $50 card. I can't remember the exact number, but I am missing somewhere around $38. Please help me with this issue.

I checked the order details, and the card that didn’t receive the refund said “Failed Authorization” Can someone help me?

Welcome to our forums!  Generally speaking, if your order is cancelled, you should expect to see the funds back on your Best Buy gift card within 30 minutes of the cancellation, as outlined in our Cancel Your Order Help Center article.  I’m sorry to hear one of these gift cards hasn’t yet been refunded, but I’ll be happy to take a closer look!

 

In order for me to review your order further, there’s a few pieces of additional information I’ll need from you.  For me to begin my research, I’ll ask that you send me a private message with the following information:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number
