Have not received my refund

I bought a computer through Best Buy but never received my order. I called and spoke with Best Buy representative Hilary on 3/31/2020. I was on the phone with her for more than an hour and I was told that I would get an update to my inquiry the next day. But when I called in on 4/1, the representative, Samantha, said there was no record of my call. After getting a case number from her, I was sent an email on 4/2 stating that I would be credited for the item. Ten days later, my refund had still not been processed. I spoke to another representative, Favio, on 4/12 and I was told that I would be getting my refund within 24 hours. I called back on 4/14 and spoke with another representative, Liza, who said the refund was processed on 4/2/2020 and to contact PayPal. I emailed a PayPal representative that day and was told that Best Buy has not processed a refund. There are also no pending transactions on my PayPal account or bank account that show that a refund is being processed. This has been a very stressful experience and I keep hearing conflicting information from your representatives, and many of them have been unhelpful. It’s been 14 days and I have not yet received my refund, how can I get this fixed? Pls help

We appreciate that you chose Best Buy for your computer order, though I’m sorry to hear that it never arrived, and you’ve had such difficulty in getting a refund for the order.

 

Since posting, have you received your refund, resolving this issue?  In some cases, credit card companies may not post a refund for up to one billing period.  If you still need assistance, please send me a private message with your full name, email address, phone number, and the order number.
