I made a purchase online using a newly issued gift card. The order went though and I was able to see that the payment was taken from the gift card, but then 5 minutes later I received an "unable to process payment" email. Attempting to update the payment method resulted in a "We're sorry" page with no other text or instructions, so I cancelled the order. However the amount deducted from the gift card did not reappear. A second test order placed shortly after cancelling the first went through without an issue and did not fail authorization. I suspect I might have jumped the gun a bit in placing the original order so quickly, but it's been 24 hours and I've yet to see the refund on the gift card, and would appreciate some assistance.
