Gift Card Failed Authorization

I made an online order using several gift cards. One of the gift cards says "failed authorization" for some reason. So I canceled the order minutes later. I was able to use the gift cards again to make a new order. Except the card with the "failed authorization" issue never get restored. Still zero balance. Could anyone help me?
