Fraudulent Purchase

I need some help figuring out the details of some fraudulent purchases that were made using my debit card. I've called a few times, but due to Covid, it seems I'm having a lot of trouble getting ahold of someone. This is kind of a last option.

I need to find out what was purchased, and what the delivery address is for the police report.

I’ll paraphrase the link I just sent:

1. Notify your card company, they are in charge of fraud protection mechanisms of your card and responsible for removing fraudulent charges. Exposed cards are also able to be locked and replaced.
2. Notify the local authorities - Their white collar division is responsible for investigation crimes.
3. Notify Best Buy at 1-888-BestBuy. They may or may not be able to stop anything based on time elapsed and where the order is at in the process.
4. For any future updates, continue to work with the card company and law enforcement.
5. Best Buy will work with the two entities above and provide the details requested. They do not usually respond to inquiries from consumers for “details”.

So you're saying that I cannot recieve information on a shipment that my money purchased?

You can call 1-888-BestBuy for any details they are able to provide. Typically, law enforcement just needs the card info from you and can reach out to Best Buy for the rest including transaction info.
