Fed-ex delivery delay

I just received notification from Best Buy and from Fed-ex saying my delivery date has been delayed from today (6/22/19) until 6/25/19. Can't get my question answered  by Fed-ex. I just would like an explanation of why it showed on Fed-ex site that it was at Ardmore, Ok yesterday which is less than 1 hour north of me. Now it is over 100 miles South of me in Hutchins, Texas.

Not sure how Best Buy could explain to you how Fed Ex screwed up.... obviously it ended up going on the wrong truck and they are routing it back to yiou.

I would think that Best Buy could contact Fed-ex and find out what happened. Best Buy promises a 2 day delivery and I am sitting her waiting, knowing that it was that close to my home and was notified it would be here that next day. When it wasn't delivered, I checked the Tracking and find out that it is now over 100 miles away in the opposite direction from where it was the night before.It's just aggravating and it would be nice to just know what happened.

Ardmore is where one of our distribution centers is located, but is not a “Hub” for FedEx. Hutchins, TX is a FedEx hub which they most likely passed it through to get to you. I am no expert on FedEx’s shipping paths, just know I live near you and my packages all take a similar path to get to me. They all route through Hutchins. If there was a delay from Best Buy in handing it off to FedEx, the delay would be on us. After it is handed off to FedEx, it would be FedEx that would be responsible for the delay and best suited to handle any questions. Our website just pulls the data with the tracking information, so it is extremely unlikely we would know more than FedEx.

Ok, that makes more sense to me. I appreciate that you took the time to explain that to me. I have NEVER had a problem with purchases orshipping when I order online from Best Buy. Thank you very much!
