I am unemployed and have been homeless for most of the last year. I was horrified when I went online to checkmy pandemic unemployment bank of america california edd debit card and discovered that shortly after my unemployment funds were deposited in my account, some creep was able to steal all my money by purchasing something from best buy. Over $900 was stolen from me thru this unauthorized transaction. I needed that money to live, I now will be on the street tonight. How is this possible? Yes i reported it to b of a, but they froze my account for fraud, and so now I cannot even access my $300 a week pa

Hello, kathleenasquire,
Thanks for joining our online community and posting for support, although it hurts me to hear about what happened. While I understand you may not have internet access to read my response, I wanted to express my concern for your situation and offer this help link for points on how to handle a fraud case:
Help with Unauthorized Orders on BestBuy.com
I know you mentioned that you've been working with your bank on this matter, and I hope you can continue partnering with them and law enforcement for assistance. I wish you all the best, and stay safe.
Kind regards,
