We placed an order of a Macbook on 09/08 and the package was delivered by UPS on 09/11 (one day delayed for the original schedule), and inside, THE PACKAGE WAS EMPTY.
We are really worried right now. Our item may get lost or stolen during the transition. The package seemed to be retaped with clear tape instead of the yellow durable tape that BestBuy usually uses.
We are regular customers of Bestbuy. This is the first time that something like this happened to us.
Please let us know how BestBuy will resolve this issue.

Welcome to our forums, albeit under such unfortunate circumstances. I know how disappointing it can be to discover the box you've received for your order does not contain the item you ordered, and I'm sorry to hear this seems to be the case with your MacBook order.
As nckhammond has mentioned, if you believe your product has been stolen, I would recommend partnering with your local police department to report this theft. Additionally, you may also need to file a claim with the carrier, UPS, so they might investigate the matter further. This process can be started with UPS by following this link..

I think it is really ridiculous.
If it happened to you, do you think that the police would resolve the problem and finally get the Macbook back to you? On top of that, how long do I have to wait while I really need I ordered.
I feel lilke eventually I will lose my money for trusting Bestbuy enough to place an order on Bestbuy.

How many similar cases of empty packages happened and were resolved eventually? Let be honest!
And why BestBuy chose UPS as a shipping partner but when something bad happened, Bestbuy did not take responsibility? We, customers, do not choose UPS. We chose BestBuy as we trsuted Bestbuy in the first place.
I though BestBuy really cared about their customers. I guess I was wrong.

While I understand this experience has been frustrating for you, if your MacBook was indeed lost or stolen in transport to you, UPS would be best equipped to investigate the matter further. Additionally, if the order was stolen, this would be a crime you would want to report to your local police department. I apologize for any additional disappointment this answer may bring, however, our answer will remain unchanged.
