I ordered a FujiFilm X100V on 1/13/23 at a Best Buy store for delivery as they were out of stock.

The package was dropped off today, 1/17/23 by UPS which my wife signed for. Upon opening the box, it was clear the package had been tampered with. Unfortunately, she had no way of knowing that it was empty until she signed and we opened it. By the time we ran outside to alert the driver, he had already left.

The only thing inside was an empty camera box with no camera, no documentation, no receipt even. However, due to the thief leaving the tampered manufacturer's box, I do have the serial number.

I tried to file a claim with UPS but they're stating I need to contact the shipper per the shipper's request. I have filed a police report and can provide that to Best Buy.

Is there anyone that can help me get this processed? This is a $1,500.00 camera I paid for and received an empty box!

I can imagine how I would feel if I received an empty box after ordering a new camera. I'm sure it would be very similar to how you must've felt.
