E-gift card not refunded after order cancellation

I made an order but cancelled it. I used gift cards and one got refunded while the other did not. I am told there could be some glitch where the order was cancelled before it got authorized and it seems my funds are in limbo. I would like assistance to get my balance back.

Spoke with customer service reps about my situation, which is essentially useless.

 

I spoke with someone about my e-gift card who assured me it would be credited back within 24 hours, which it still has not. Various persons throughout the day have given me time frames from 30 min to 3-6 days.

 

My physical gift card that I used as well did not get credited back. How can it actually take this long to just credit a refund back to a gift card?

Well. Spoke to ANOTHER person again as I spoke to a rep online who said my refund has initiated but due to reasons that his limited access couldn't provide him, was not completed. Gave me a number to call and they will fix it for me. I call said number, spoke to a rep who said "It takes 24-48 hours, please wait until tomorrow. It will definitely be there tomorrow morning."

 

It's been 48 hours, both my gift card balances are still 0, and no one on the forums has gotten back to me. Superb run around from all departments.
