Do NOT buy a gift card!!

I tried to purchase a $500 egift card. My money was taken out of my bank account but I got an email saying they couldn’t process my e-gift card. So where is my money?!? Every person I called sent me to someone else and no one would help me. They just said it was declined. No reason as to why or how to fix it. I have a legit bank. My money WAS there and they took it. Their only solution was to buy ANOTHER one. And lose more money? I want my refund and I’m so beyond furious with the customer service. Complete and total incompetence

It is likely a hold on your account. It should return in a couple days.

We appreciate that you chose Best Buy to purchase an E-gift card through.  Obviously, we would love to fill every order that our customers make, but sometimes were not able to do so.

 

As SPOPATT mentioned, if you order was cancelled, then we normally wouldn’t charge you for it. The only thing on your bank account should be an authorization that typically drops off within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank.  You can find more information on Order Cancellations here.
