Can someone help me figure out what happened to an online price on BestBuy website? There was a PS4 Platinum wireless headset on sale for $116.99, Wednesday December 31, 2019. I did not want to wait for delivery, so I went to the store.
Purchased the item with the protection plan and left. Later I realized that the amount paid was more than what I calculated in my head. I found that I was charged the original price of $159.99. The next day I called the BestBuy I went to, and was informed that indeed the sale price was correct and that I should come in and get an adjustment.
I felt at ease, went into the BestBuy and there was no record of any sale for the headset I purchased.
I thought that I was being gaslighted, and was totally losing my mind. They did not have any record of my calling and speaking with a sale associate. I was told that it could have been a sale of the day "ITEM". Really! How can this happen.

I have a suggestion I wanted to give to you of a new location for a Best Buy store. Hwy 231 Ashville, AL. There is a building there that was a Freds store and it recently went out of business and beside it is the Ashville post office. Thank you for stating where my idea could be posted. Carrie Mathews

I really don't see how someone could pay for something in a store and NOT know the price they are agreeing to.
If you were being charged more than you head said you should be charged you should notice it before you hand someone your credit card.
And later you realized the amount you paid was more. How did you realized it? by looking at your receipt? So why didn't you bring the receipt in?

Generally speaking, our BestBuy.com site and store prices match. On rare occasions though, we may have items on sale online only. With that said, our Price Match Guarantee should cover most of these instances. I can understand being frustrated about missing out on a great sales price, though as mentioned, we should have been able to look into what options were available with your purchase details. It is peculiar that so soon after purchase this would be difficult to locate. While in store, we should be able to look up your purchase history with the card used (if one was used) or even your customer profile if you attached a My Best Buy membership.
